Les Salles sur Verdon

Arriving at Salles-sur-Verdon you perceive it now that it is a village nine normal since the ancient village is under the lake. Indeed, during the contruction of the dam Salles sur Verdon was moved and placed at its current location in the early 70s.
The new village has several shops, a marina and several restaurants, some offering superb views of Sainte Croix Lake ideal for a dinner by candlelight in the summer evenings with your partner or your companion.
Salles sur Verdon is ideally located between Aups and Moustiers Sainte Marie and close Aiguines with its wonderful, covered by numerous possibilities rental (camping ,...) that made the village a very good anchor point to visit Verdon. Lovers of historic village on the other hand they remain hungry, it does not diminish their pleasure to discover the region.
In front of the village of the island Coste-Belle, through is quite possible to pedal and you are pretty beaches around ...
Salles sur Verdon is one of three villages along Sainte Croix Lake vith Sainte Croix du Verdon and Bauduen.
